The Swiss Perfect isn't that perfect. Its defaults aren't optimal, it makes mistakes in pairings, it makes suboptimal pairings sometimes. That's why SP isn't certified by FIDE. For several years we use Swiss Manager in Russia, it costs some money, but it is definitely better. Particularly this +0.5 in Buchholz is incorrect IMO. Nevertheless, I understand your point that you are going to use the software without changes until the end of this season. My point is the following: you have to either get some better knowledge about SP's settings to ensure that calculations are correct or switch to a better software for the next season. Dima. | |
